Test Drive: Skyline GT-R Time Attack Tune

Just finished testing out beast345's Skyline settings. It is a great start of a tune, especially for AWD. Check it out here.

Test Drive: Skyline 25GT Time Attack Tune

Tonight I tested out beast345's Skyline settings to see how well they were setup. Took me a little while to get the car the way I would want it to handle, but I think the changes are good. Check it out here.

Old Tunes - Diamond in the Rough Evo

This setup was built as a request for a forum member. It's a very rough build, but it has a lot of potential in the right hands. Understeer has been drastically reduced, now it just needs to be able to put the power to the ground. Basically all parts are Level 5, but you can use whatever you want.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 Rival Guide

Here is my version of the TXRD2 Rival Guide - it is based of the guide from GameFAQ's but it has been (and still is on occasion) updated with the help of members from my forum.  As more information comes to light, the guide will be updated.

I would also like to personally thank all the following members for their contributions - without teamwork this wouldn't have been possible.

Old Tunes - JUN Inspired Prelude

This is one of my favorite FF car setups, and I definitely love how this car handles.  Sometime I will get back to working on this car but for now it is resting up.

Honda Prelude Si VTEC BB4

Parts B: HRM Level 5
Parts C: UNI Level 5

Old Tunes - Team Slide/Show

I can only find one setup so far but it is definitely one worth tinkering around with.  This is a drift setup for the Team S/S Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II BNR34, enjoy!

Old Tunes - Team Impul

I used all of these cars in my Chasing the Touge - Kaido Battle Style video on YouTube.  Should you want to use the colors I used, the color code is (Hue 220, Shade 220, Brightness 140).

Nissan Laurel 25 Club S GC35

2498cc ----- 68.1 kg-m/ 4000RPM

Old Tunes - Misc. Drifters + Solo Grip

These setups are probably my oldest setups in my possession so they could easily be out-of-date and not that good.  Nonetheless someone may get some use out of them.... here they are starting with the drifters.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 Game Review

Finally got around to making a review for this game. I have it posted on a few sites (which I'll link to), but here is my review.

The Only Touge Game Worth Playing - 9.0/10.0
Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 (TXRD2), although horribly titled, is the only racing game out that is truly worth calling an authentic touge racing game. Unlike anything else that is out there, the courses on this game are modeled directly after the real roads - similar to that of the Gran Turismo series.

Car Update

I've been pretty busy of the last month's time, unfortunately most of it wasn't on TXRD2. We were in the process of buying a house and getting moved into the new house once the closing went through. There was a lot of work and headaches involved but we are moved and so life can move on.

Back in the Driver's Seat

For the past month or two I've slowly been getting back into playing TXRD2 more often. In late February I picked up a backwards compatible Playstation 3 so I've started a new game on it. I'm finally to the point where some of the Level 4 & Level 5 parts are becoming available - as are the sportier cars.
